Customer Service Representative | Dispatcher and Scheduler

Job Type: Part Time, Monday – Friday

Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Shifts Available: 8am-1pm | 12pm – 5pm

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher & Scheduler to join our team. This is an in-office position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can manage multiple tasks at once, and is self-motivated. You will be responsible for ensuring our technicians are efficiently routed to appointments, handling customer inquiries across various platforms, and maintaining an organized office. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of the role and work independently without requiring constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route incoming customer calls in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Schedule and book jobs for multiple technicians based on availability and geographic location.
  • Dispatch technicians and optimize daily routes for efficiency.
  • Manage customer communications via phone, email, and other platforms.
  • Handle walk-in customers, answer inquiries, and provide information as needed.
  • Take payments and process transactions accurately.
  • Open and close the office, depending on shift schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments, payments, and correspondence.
  • Assist the owner in daily administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in customer service, scheduling, or dispatching is preferred.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, especially during peak call times.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently without constant supervision.
  • Basic computer skills (familiarity with office software and scheduling tools).
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to take ownership of the role.
  • Experience working in a small business or family-owned company is a plus.
